We’re delighted to announce that our special guest this week is Susan O’Doherty, a writer and clinical psychologist.

Susan is the author of Getting Unstuck Without Coming Unglued: A Woman’s Guide to Unblocking Creativity, a widely-praised work that helps women to understand and address blocks in the creative process, including chronic procrastination, managing the pressures of family life, and conflicts about success and competing with men.

Susan is a licensed clinical psychologist and certified hypnotherapist with a private practice in Brooklyn Heights, New York. Her focus is developing and enhancing creativity. Most of her clients are writers, musicians, and visual or performing artists.

Susan’s stories, poems, and essays have appeared in Eureka Literary Magazine, Northwest Review, Apalachee Review among many others and her popular advice column for writers, “The Doctor Is In,” appears every Friday on MJ Rose’s publishing blog, “Buzz, Balls, & Hype.”
